  • The activities of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in the Kingdom of the Netherlands are led by Mr
    Marcin Czepelak, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Poland to the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

    Structure and competences of the sections of the Embassy:

     

    • Political-Economic Section

    Political-Economic Section covers all aspects of bilateral relations between Poland and the Netherlands, including analysing domestic and foreign policy of the Netherlands, securing and protecting Polish interests in the Netherlands, maintaining contacts with Dutch opinion-making milieus and mass media, supporting Polish-Dutch bilateral and multilateral co-operation, launching actions aiming at a multifaceted promotion of Poland in the Kingdom of the Netherlands.

     

    • Consular Section

    Protects rights and interests of the Polish citizens in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, provides Poles residing in the Netherlands with consular assistance, undertakes legal actions like legalization of documents and attesting signatures, grants visas, intermediates between Polish citizens living in the Netherlands and relevant institutions in Poland, contributes to strengthening of ties between Poles permanently living in the Netherlands ("Polonia") and Poland, as well as spreading knowledge of the Polish language and national tradition, supervises activities of the honorary consulates of Poland in the Netherlands.

     

     

    • Defense Attaché Office

    The Defense Attaché Office's task is to facilitate co-operation between the Polish and Dutch Armed Forces. It promotes links between the staffs of the two Ministries of Defense across a wide range of activities, such as training and operations. The DAO assists with the purchase and sale of defense equipment and with the coordination of commemorations and ceremonies in the Netherlands. It also deals with enquiries from the public about Polish defense matters

     

     

    • Administrative and Financial Division

    Regulates a wide range of administrative and financial tasks of the Embassy, manages the Embassy's real estate, keeps personal records etc.
